I truly love japanese culture ( this is the reason why I am here with a student visa and studying japanese language everyday). I became an English teacher because since the first day I started this career i was really happy to see people improving and starting to be confident in another language besides their mother tongue. That moved me to keep going and focus 100% on becoming an English (and italian) teacher
Hello everyone!
My name is Diego Baldi, i am 30 years old and i am an English and Italian teacher.
Since i was a child i had interest in the English language as it was my favorite subject in school. However, it was only thanks to my first English teaching experience that i understood the importance of this job for me. since then, i was always prone to work in order to help students to understand the importance of the English language for their career and personal development. That is the reason why, besides taking a university degree, i started taking language and teaching degrees such as the C2 in English and CELTA.
After that, while studying for my university degree, i understood that i also wanted to teach Italian, a language that is very little known, but has one of the most important cultural heritages of the world.
Finally, i decided, after my first experience working as a freelancer, to properly continue my English and Italian teaching career here in Japan because i truly love its culture and its way of living based on respect, something that is fundamental for me. That’s the main reason why i started studying japanese in 2021 and on december of 2022 I passed my first Japanese exam, the JLPT N5. Right now I'm studying for the n3 exam and I will be in tokyo up until the end of september of 2024.
I truly hope to become your teacher in the future, so that we can both improve and have fun!
I can prepare texts based on the students needs or we can have a conversation first and decide which test is the most suitable for the student's needs

I have graduate in Italian and English and I have also got a CELTA degree and a C2 (CPE) in English. I have been talking/studying English since I was a child because my mother is bilingual.
