I can help with daily conversation, TOEIC preparation, and Business English. I’ve been teaching English at schools and privately since 2020. My lessons often use roleplay to practice real-life English, and I can create lessons just for you!

I first visited Japan with my family when I was 8 years old, and I instantly fell in love with the culture. From that moment, I dreamed of living here. In 2015, after graduating high school, that dream came true when I enrolled in a Japanese university. I worked hard to achieve native-level Japanese, and now I work for a Japanese company where I use both Japanese and English every day. 日本に惚れたきっかけは、8歳のときに家族と一緒に日本を旅行したことです。 その瞬間からいつか日本に住みたいとう夢を見初めました。 そして2015年には高校卒業後、日本の大学に進学してその夢を叶えました。 ネイティブレベルの日本語を身につけるために一生懸命勉強し、 現在は日本の会社で働いており、日本語と英語の両方を使っている生活しています。

As an English teacher, I explain education policies by clearly outlining classroom rules, grading criteria, and curriculum goals to ensure students understand expectations and objectives. When introducing texts, I provide concise summaries, clarify challenging vocabulary, and connect themes to real-life experiences to enhance engagement. I also emphasize structured writing, critical thinking, and active participation through discussions and assignments, fostering both language proficiency and analytical skills.

I moved to Japan with my children because my husband works here as a software engineer, and I currently reside as a dependent. Back in Sri Lanka, I worked as an English teacher, and I wish to continue my career in the same field here in Japan. Teaching English has always been my passion. I deeply enjoy helping others improve their communication skills, interacting with people from diverse cultures, and fostering cross-cultural understanding. It is incredibly rewarding to see students progress and achieve their goals through learning English, and I am excited about the opportunity to bring my experience and enthusiasm to this role in Japan.

Depending on the age group but...

- Safe and supportive learning environment: Schools should provide a safe and supportive learning environment, free from bullying and other forms of harassment.
- Parental involvement: Parents should be encouraged to play an active role in their children's education, through things like volunteering in the classroom and attending parent-teacher conferences.
- Early childhood education: Early childhood education programs can help children develop the skills they need to be successful learners later on.

I originally came to Japan to pursue my undergraduate studies, however, I have always had a passion of teaching English to kids. Though I am a native speaker who has been learning English since young, I know the struggle of learning a new language. As of matter of fact, I myself, grew up learning to 4 different languages: English, Chinese, Thai, Japanese. I understand how hard it was for me, so I wanted to help younger children from experiencing what I have, and simply make their studying progress easier and more efficient.

I am willing to teach a wide range of texts that the students may want to learn from.

I am currently a first year student at Tokyo International University. I want to start teaching English as a way to help those in need with English tutoring while also getting to know more people in Tokyo.

Policy 1: Inclusive Cultural Exchange Framework

This policy promotes a rich and inclusive cultural exchange within the English language learning environment, fostering a deep understanding of diverse cultures and perspectives.

We implement this through cultural integration sessions, where we integrate regular cultural exchange sessions into the curriculum, where students are encouraged to share aspects of their own culture, traditions, and experiences.
Next is Cultural Awareness Assignments, where we assign projects and assignments that require students to research and present various aspects of a chosen culture. Emphasis will be placed on language accuracy and fluency in presenting the information.

Finally is Multicultural Collaboration, where we encourage students to collaborate on projects with peers from different cultural backgrounds. This collaboration will extend beyond traditional classroom settings, fostering friendships and an appreciation for diverse perspectives.

Policy 2: Conversation-Based Language Learning

Objective:
To enhance English language proficiency through immersive conversation-based learning, emphasizing practical communication skills in real-world scenarios.

We implement this by prioritizing interactive and discussion-oriented classroom activities over traditional lecture-based teaching methods. We create an environment that encourages spontaneous and natural conversation among students.

Next is Real-World Simulation Exercises: Design simulation exercises that replicate real-life scenarios, such as job interviews, travel situations, or business meetings. This approach will provide students with practical language skills applicable to various contexts.

Finally is the Peer-to-Peer Language Exchange Program, where we facilitate a program where students can pair up with peers looking to practice English. This exchange will encourage mutual learning, providing students with opportunities to teach and learn from each other.

By implementing these policies, the English language class will focus on linguistic development and provide a platform for students to appreciate and learn from each other's cultures, fostering a more comprehensive and enriching educational experience.

My major was the initial reason why I came to Japan. However, I started finding myself more reasons to stay in Japan and pursue a career in becoming an English teacher. I started it as a part-time job and I feel like it is now a passion of mine to influence the younger generation of Japan to connect globally by first building their English skills and then assisting them in whatever they need in order to build these skills.

I can prepare texts based on the students needs or we can have a conversation first and decide which test is the most suitable for the student's needs

I truly love japanese culture ( this is the reason why I am here with a student visa and studying japanese language everyday). I became an English teacher because since the first day I started this career i was really happy to see people improving and starting to be confident in another language besides their mother tongue. That moved me to keep going and focus 100% on becoming an English (and italian) teacher

Work hard and try to have fun! The key to mastering a new language is to have motivation, try to enjoy the subject, and to work hard. By taking small steps forward, reaching your desired goals won't be a problem!

I came to Japan as a University student studying International Liberal Studies and quickly became interested in teaching English here as I find many people wish to learn English but struggle to either start or master it so I wish to help share my knowledge and skills.

I am currently a sophomore at The University of Tokyo (東京大学). The opportunities this university presented were my main reasons to choose to come to Japan. I am currently pursuing my undergraduate degree in Environmental Science. In parallel, I am conducting research in laser physics and biotechnology. I love teaching. Apart from English, I am also a Math and Science tutor. Tutoring gives me the satisfaction that very few activities do. So why not utilize my free time to do something I enjoy and that's helpful to others.
