The text that I use for English teaching in my prior company is the TOEIC or ISELTS English test preparation book. For young children we have textbooks at different levels that matches their skill set which can make their English language more fluent as they develop.

My responsibilities are teaching English for adults and children (as young as two years old). I teach business professional and medical English to Japanese students here in Japan. My classes are both one to one and group lessons for up to five students. I focus on all areas of phonics, pronunciation, grammer, vocabulary, and improving listening skills for essential communication. My responsibilities also includes promotion and advertising by passing out flyers and attending holiday events for students. I teach English for students taking the TOEIC examination and ISELTS. I also teach Business and Medical English for students working on those industries.

Bring up I was always a big fan of Japanese culture. I have Japanese family members, my cousins are Japanese and they live in Aichi prefecture. I've studied Japanese and university as well as high school. I'm also in Japan because my fiance is Japanese and we plan to get married and have a child together in a few months. I became an English teacher because I was inspired by my cousin who also lives in Japan (Gifi prefecture) and he was English teacher here for over 10 years. I learned from him and I find teaching to be a really fun hobby as I love interacting with people of all ages.

What Brought Me to Japan: I came to Japan to further my studies and immerse myself in a new cultural environment. Japan has always fascinated me with its rich history, unique traditions, and cutting-edge technology. The opportunity to pursue a Master’s degree in TESOL at Sophia University in Tokyo has allowed me to combine my love for education with my interest in Japanese culture. Living and studying in Japan offers me the chance to not only enhance my academic and professional skills but also to experience life in a vibrant and diverse community. Reason for Becoming an English Teacher: I became an English teacher because I have a deep passion for language and communication. I wish to help prospective students become more and more comfortable about using English, and to foster a learning environment that is welcoming of mistakes and improvements. The texts that we use in our lessons will be chosen according to the students' needs and wishes. If a student has no preference, we will most likely use my laptop and some reference books.

I have studied at a British international school for around 10 years, in which the principal language of instruction was English. It was common for me to translate English to Japanese and vice versa for my classmates when we were outside of the school and interacting with the wider Japanese society. In my medical school, I have contributed in making the classes in English more active and have aided my classmates, of which many of them non-native English speakers, better their already wonderful English. For reference of my English ability, I have scored 980 on the TOEIC test and have scored 2890 Eiken CSE when I took the Grade 1 Eiken test.
