元々日本に来た理由は日本語を勉強するために。 一年間の間に日本の人々や文化も好きになりまして、日本に住むことに決まりました。 デザイナーの仕事してたけど、教えるの仕事好きになりまして、英語とスペイン語の先生になりました。 日本の生徒に世界の文化や考え方も教えながら、日本の見えない素晴らしいところを皆さんに見せたい。 I came to Japan to study Japanese, but before I finished my studies, I fell in love with Japanese people and Japanese culture, so I decided to live in Japan. Although I had most of my working experience as a designer, I came to like teaching both Spanish and English. I would like to teach my students about the world and different ways of thinking, so that my Japanese students can understand the incredible things about Japanese culture.

I want to use my english skills that I attained in Australia and I want to teach Japanese people english since I believe that Japan needs to improve in their English compared to many other asian countries and I would like to support that by teaching

I married a Japanese man in April 2024, and now live with my husband in Sumida-ku, Tokyo. In the university in Russia I used to study languages and cultures, and I already knew I want to be an English teacher back then. I wasn’t sure if I want to teach children or adults, so I was seeking for a chance to try everything as much as possible. Now, due to my experience, I think I’m comfortable with teaching all the age groups.

I enjoy meeting people and get a sense of achievement when my students improve.

My job transferred me here and I've felt really lucky since then. I really would like to help change the way English is used and taught in Japan so that it can be used more naturally by my students. Listening and reading is important, but so is speaking!

I married a Japanese lady in the UK and wanted to experience life in Japan. I became an English teacher because I always wanted to be a teacher.

What Brought Me to Japan: I came to Japan to further my studies and immerse myself in a new cultural environment. Japan has always fascinated me with its rich history, unique traditions, and cutting-edge technology. The opportunity to pursue a Master’s degree in TESOL at Sophia University in Tokyo has allowed me to combine my love for education with my interest in Japanese culture. Living and studying in Japan offers me the chance to not only enhance my academic and professional skills but also to experience life in a vibrant and diverse community. Reason for Becoming an English Teacher: I became an English teacher because I have a deep passion for language and communication. Growing up, I recognized the importance of English as a global language, and I wanted to help others unlock the doors that proficiency in English can open. Teaching English allows me to share my knowledge and skills while also learning from my students. I find great joy in seeing my students progress and gain confidence in their abilities. My goal as a teacher is to inspire and empower my students to achieve their language learning goals and to support them in their journey toward success.

I came to Japan as an international student. I am currently on my second year in a Japanese Language School in Tokyo. I came to Japan because I want to learn Japanese since I am very interested with Japan and its culture. Having to experience living in Japan will help me understand and discover more about Japan's culture. Furthermore, practicing Japanese in a daily basis will further help me improve my Japanese level.

Japan culture is great. I love the people here, they are very welcoming. Teaching English is just one of my great asset to connect to them.

I came here to know my roots. My great grandfather was actually Japanese. Then, after I got laid off from my previous job as a factory worker, I tried teaching and that was the start.
