I have been living in Japan for almost 6 years and the reasons for that are because I'm interested in the language, the people and the culture here. However, while living in Japan I realized that English- the international language is needed anywhere including the countries with English as the official language, Japan and even in my home country Vietnam. It's not only the communication tool but also the important key that helps me open my mind and have different perspectives. That's why I ended up with the English communication major and became an English teacher who's teaching English as a foreign language.

Just be comfortable and have fun while learning the language. I often use phonic journey textbooks and we can textbooks for students from 4 to 15 years old. I also use Interchange textbooks for high school students. Besides, I think Prism textbooks are suitable for university students.

My husband's work, As an English teacher, my mission is to foster a dynamic and inclusive learning environment where language proficiency, critical thinking, and a love for learning thrive. I am excited to leverage my multifaceted background to create engaging and transformative educational experiences for my students.

I came to Japan to pursue my studies in Digital Business and Innovation at Tokyo International University. Japan's advanced technology, innovative business environment, and rich culture really attracted me. I wanted to immerse myself in a place where I could learn from the best while experiencing a unique blend of tradition and modernity. I became an English teacher because I’ve always had a passion for the language. English has played a major role in my life since middle school, and I wanted to share that knowledge with others. During my gap year, I had the opportunity to teach high school students preparing for their national exams. It was incredibly rewarding to see them grow and succeed, which fueled my passion for teaching even more. Teaching allowed me to make a meaningful impact while continuing to develop my own skills.

Hi there! I’m Temuulen, but you can call me Tim! I’m currently in my 4th year at Tokyo International University in Ikebukuro, studying programming and business. After graduating high school, I decided to take a 2-3 year gap year for personal reasons. During that time, I taught high school students preparing for national exams at my high school and at Absolute English Language Center in Mongolia. I love playing volleyball, binge-watching English movies and series, and lately, I’ve been diving into all kinds of anime. English has been a big part of my life since middle school, and I’ve taken exams like the SAT and IELTS. Even here in Japan, I use English every day, whether it’s running volleyball clubs or just navigating university or daily life. I’m here to help you with anything English-related! Thank you! :)

Hello, I am Rosebelle and I have graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Arts in English. I have studied the English language with concentration in Language and Literature for 4 years in a university. I have worked as a corporate trainer for over 10 years so my experience with the English language is vast enough. I am more than happy to help you improve your English speaking skills and your learn how to love the language even more. English is a living language it's very interesting.

I came to Japan as a master's student. I am currently in my first year but I have already completed many of my credits and have free time to partake in a part time job. My connection with the English language and didatics are one of the main reasons I started teaching English as a foreign language. Additionally, I enjoy being able to help people acquire a new language and see them progress slowly until they are able to speak proficiently.

I believe that using only one language in the classroom should be the best way to improve one's English level. The "trial by fire" type of approach is very efficient; however, the teacher must be very playful when approaching teaching like this since learning a new language is challenging and the students can become uncomfortable without being able to speak their native language. Each level should be approach appropriately, this means that vocabulary and grammar should be basic for lower levels, and more challenging as they progress.

I believe making mistakes is important and should not be met with strictness; at first, students should be allowed to make mistakes and not be corrected very much, but as their proficiency increases, addressing those mistakes becomes more common.
